We have been doing a lot of bike riding but nothing prepared us for our adventure over to lost lost lagoon. In order to get to this mysterious and remote wonderland one must pass several challenges. First one must cope with the pouring rain, as we decided to take on this challenge during a monsoon. Second one must be prepared to travel through several harrowing types of 'road' conditions. These include sand pits, giant mud puddles and washed out ravines. Then one must pass, by way of a secret private and illegal airstrip, Noriega's secret bunker house now inhabited by goats and pigs. And lastly when you think you can't handle anymore you must cross through Cayman infested marshes by foot.
And is the lagoon worth it. Yes. I could have done without the coral scrapes but it is so pretty and very Robinson Crusoe.
If you think anything I wrote above is an exaggeration, please continue reading.
Step one, make it through the mud pitted roads.
Step two make it through the washed out stream.
And a little rest on some nice roadway.
Here is a great video of a sloth and her baby. They live near Noriega's old haunt.
Here's sis out on the outer coral reef looking for mysterious creatures never seen before
A sweet shot of the Lost Lost Lagoon
Pretty blue green water and fishes
This is a scorpion fish, very poisonous. Do not touch

Here's an indication of the kind of scrubs we all looked like by the end of the day. Sis and Nate at dinner.
So there you have it. The latest adventure down in these parts.
Stay tuned
