Nadia and I met up, for the first time in two year, at my wonderful friend Jerrod's house in Panama City to start out our journey around the wild and wily country of Panama. Jerrod and Aris were the best hosts possible and I want to say thank you thank you thank you.
Our first trek was up to the top of Ancon Hill, for a great view of the city.
Here we are above the Canal Zone which was our second stop.
We watched some small sailboats go through as well as these big boys. The Canal is an amazing bit of invention and is a wallet emptier to pass through. Aris was our chauffeur and guide for the day and showed us all of the wonders of the canal.
Nads wanted ice cream, which melted within a millisecond of walking outside in the hot hot weather of down town Panama.
Stay tuned for more stories from such exciting places as shark infested waters, abandoned castles and bus rides from hell.
